NOTE: These are the views of Scott Hastings and do not necessarily reflect the views of Altitude Sports & Entertainment.
The Nuggets seem to do better when they give Ty Lawson some playing time. Maybe this is a misaccessment on my part, but why don't the Nuggets give thier young talent more playing time if any playing time at all?

big hurdle when Mr. Hastings has reached the conclusion that the officials are out of his radar. Recently he either does not comment or says i don't know about that call.
Even heard him say a few times that the offcial made a good call-that's equiavent to being honest with the fan base who depend on him for some accurate reporting.
you cannot be on the airways giving false position to make the NUGS look like something there not.
Unfortunately they are a bunch of crybabies??The team gets more than there share of calls and Melo is ineffective if he ccannot bully his way all over the offensive zone.they had him in the mix for MVP that's a stretch-what he is a scorer he does not function well within the team concept and thankfully it has been reported accurately in the press as well the Nugs personnel.
No hope for the playoffs with NENE-SMITH-MELO playing indepentently of following the roatations the coaching stall has inserted -THEY JUST DON"T GET IT!!!
Kreiger pointed out that the Paint needed help if the Nugs were to advance in PO no moves made to shore up that situation and it really shows now when PUSH COMES TO SHOVE.
At least Mr. Hastings is coming forward and giving us more perspective then his ramblings of the past several years.
By the way don't BLAME DANTLEY look and point the finger at MELO & SMITH who take about 40% of the shots sometimes more!!!WOW
Hope Karl returns soon but i'm positive he is more depressed looking at the lackluster play since he has been away with illness.
Bright spots are Affalo & Lawson not enough weight to carry sloppy play of others.
Durant makes his team better Melo makes his team worse that about sums it up!!!!
That's what iv'e concluded after 43 yrs following BB in Denver Metro.
Face it Melo needs shaping up and a change of direction and believe me he wb better off in N.Y. that would work just fine with his inflated EGO.
Saying all this i'm sure i could not do a better job no one could that just won't listen moreso than any team iv'e seen this yr maybe Golden State is even worse certainly Nelson is!!!The downfall of a good coach-much too long in the business???

Barkley called the Nugs a bunch of NUT CASES save Billups. They certainly live up to his expectations but in fairness he should not be that dramatic in inserting his comments on National TV-(TNT)

I'm just curious why the Nuggets seem unable to defend the pick and roll. They don't pressure the man with the ball or cover the the man setting the pick. I would think with the Nuggets giving up so many points, perhaps it wouldn't be a bad idea for Karl to use his old trapping defense he used in Seattle. They can't do any worse and they would force more turnovers.
